IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE ! OPENS TONIGHT

The musical, "It's A Wonderful Life", based on the Jimmy Stewart/Frank Capra movie, opens tonight at Ozark Actors' Theatre in Rolla, Mo. Pictured above in a photo taken by Bob Phelan for the Rolla Daily News are some of the great cast that aren't Nisbetts: Kevin Edwards and Susan Holmes, who do a fantastic job of portraying George and Mary Bailey, and Alex & Nathan Goff, Maggie & Tess Hamacher as the Bailey children.

The Nisbetts involved in the show are:
Keith as Uncle Billy Bailey (I love to watch him, on stage and off)
Joel as Ernie Bishop (for a family that doesn't drink, Keith and Joel give some amazing performances of inebriation)
Adam as Harry Bailey and Sam Wainwright (he doesn't seem to be satisfied with just one role any more)
Joy and Anna as the Martini children (they're so cute)
Josiah as light board operator (and general tech, which is his forte)
John as props manager (Amy costumed him as well, and it's a shame he's only on stage in the dark)
Amy as costume designer (the costumes look great!)

That looks so good! If we lived close by I'd definitely go see it! I love the story of "It's a Wonderful Life." Mom cries every year when we watch it (Christmas tradition), and I usually do too. :-) Hope all the performances go well for you guys!

Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Yes it is unfortunately true. The good news is that the producers are going to try to mount a tour at some point. My guess is once the economy has calmed back down a bit. Feel free to cantact them if you do have questions about any future productions. TaleMusical@aol.com

Thank you for all your support of the show!
