THE LITTLE PEOPLE HELPED SOME TOO

Glory painted,

and Nathanael sculpted.

Unfortunately, this debonair gentleman won't be seen onstage. (He may still be outside the stage door during performances if the weather keeps on as it has been ! )

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATHANAEL ! !

This morning Nathanael asked for his name in pancakes for his birthday (today). I've done this for Joy and Anna, but it was quite a feat for Nathanael. I can't believe he's already 9 years old!! He's always acted like a small man, but he is now almost old enough to be one.

AND THEN . . .

GLOBAL WARMING IN ACTION . . . SNOW IN DALLAS !

These pictures were taken at Donna, Margie, and Rhonda's house in Midlothian, Tx. Keith's sisters live right outside of Dallas. They measured 15 inches and it was still snowing !

My kids were a little confused as to why they were getting so much more snow than we were. Keith offered to bring them a shovel. It's so beautiful, I'm so very glad they got to experience it.

INCREDIBLY INTRICATE BEAUTY

About 5 years ago, my dear friend Anita Martin gave me this book for my birthday. It has been a delight to me, and I particularly enjoy looking through it when it matches the decor outdoor (like today). The photographs are stunning in their detail, and I am awed by the variety and extreme beauty of something so tiny.

"How full of creative genius is the air in which these are generated! I should hardly admire them more if real stars fell and lodged on my coat" Henry David Thoreau, Journal, 1856

As an artist, my heart sings in appreciation and praise to the Master Artist,
who infuses every single part of creation with extravagant beauty.

THE HANDY DESK ACCESSORY EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ! !

My sister Julie and her husband Jon sent me these adorable pictures of their busy daughter Jordan, here demonstrating her office organizational skills by cleaning a drawer and then occupying it. Jordan will soon be a big 1 year old. For my birthday, Julie and Jon got us a camera for our computer, and we've been Skyping with them once a week. It has been a joy to see Jordan smile and laugh, and last night she even took a few step on camera for us.
